Every now and then we tend to wonder are we doing the right thing? Are the things we learn or people that we get to know in our life meant something?
Steve Jobs speech about his story of connecting the dots had a great impact on me when i watch the video. Now that he is gone, i will forever remember his story.
"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life."
And here is my personal version of dots.
I remember i was just 17years old and it is the most important year for any form5 students. I was an active basketball player and i felt that i'm invisible and thought life will just continue perfectly until the end. But faint decided to strike me and gave me one of my best life lesson ever and it has become a motivation for me, inspired to me take up Nutrition course and also a reason to live every single day
It was a really odd case but i'm not afraid or shy to share. I had my kidney remove due to congenital condition where it was found damage and doctor have no way of saving it and had to remove it.
I was young and offcourse i did question God what's his plan for me and why is it happening on me.
And from that time onwards i was inspire to study what i'm studying now and that is just one of my connected dots in my life.
There are tones of other unknown dots in my life and i'm looking forward to connect them in future by looking backwards.
Whatever it is, no matter what happen in your past. There is got to be a reason behind it. Call it whatever you want and believe in any religion you want.
All i know is we don't give up and keep on fighting every single day.
If a one kidney guy like me can move on in his life looking at the mirror with a 16cm on his abs knowing that his diet has to be really strict.
What about a perfectly normal person like you.
